Prince Harry understood to be self-isolating for UK trip over fears for Prince Philip's health
It is understood the Duke of Sussex is currently self-isolating in his Californian home with Meghan and their son Archie before returning to Britain if his grandfather’s condition worsens, The Mirror has revealed.
The prince has been kept “regularly informed” about Prince Philip’s current health situation since he went into hospital two nights ago, according to the publication.
The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital in central London on the evening of Tuesday 16 February, as a precaution after falling ill.
The news comes as the United States and Spain could be added to the UK’s hotel quarantine 'red list'.
All travel to both nations would be banned under the new rules, with Brits travelling home being forced to quarantine for ten days in Government-approved hotels costing up to £1,750 per person.
