Parents received a message last night informing them that those in the child’s class must stay off school today (September 1), Edinburgh Live reported.
The health board said there is no evidence to suggest any onward transmission within the school at this stage and that contacts of the confirmed case are being informed.
Public health investigation and assessment of the contacts is ongoing.
