These 14 Edinburgh areas didn't record any positive coronavirus cases for this 7 day period

Figures released by the Scottish Government show that 14 areas in Edinburgh haven’t reported a single coronavirus case in the last seven days.

This data from Public Health Scotland gives a breakdown of the number of cases per region across the whole country and includes the population of each area for context.

Not included in this list, the worst hit area in Edinburgh is Newington and Dalkeith Road with 222 new cases reported in the seven day period.

This list covers data from September 28 to October 4. Over this seven day period, 792 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the City of Edinburgh, that’s 150.9 per 100,000 population.
