Around 900 jobs will be at risk across the UK.
TSB has announced that 73 branches will be closing in Scotland, with eight of those in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
There will be 164 branches closed UK wide.
The move comes as the Spanish owned bank reports 67% of their customers use online banking, and their move will be towards prioritising their digital platform.
