All runners are asked to start and complete the challenge at that same time David is undertaking the challenge regardless of time zone. They say this will have the greatest impact as people all over the world will be partaking in the challenge at the same time.

Justin, who works as a fitness coach, will begin at 4am on Saturday morning and end exactly 48 hours later.

He said he is hoping to raise money to help launch the Modern Man Charity: Lads Without Dads initiative that aims to support boys and young men who are without a father figure in their lives.

Justin said: “I wanted to undertake a challenge that would push myself outside of my comfort zone. Within this challenge your fitness and endurance is really put to the test. I am hoping to go about my business as usual on Saturday but I imagine Sunday will be more testing as fatigue and sleep deprivation set in.

“I’m hoping to keep to grass surfaces as much as possible to relieve the stress on my muscles and joints.

“This challenge by Goggins is all about empowering individuals to become their best selves by putting themselves in uncomfortable situations and as a consequence growing.

“It is also great to be able to raise money to get a great charity off the ground whilst at the same time pushing yourself mentally and physically.”
