Edinburgh tram gets a makeover to share a hearing health message across the city

Next time you hop on an Edinburgh tram it could take you to a whole new destination – better hearing health.

One of the trams on the airport to Leith route has unveiled a new look, decked out in blue branding to promote a local business and health success story.

House of Hearing, local audiology experts since 1969, has not only helped thousands of people to better hearing health, it has expanded to include nine clinics across Scotland and the North of England, employing dozens of people.

Now it hopes that by wrapping a tram in its eye-catching colours, even more people will hop on board to start their journey to better hearing health.

Louise Stewart, senior audiologist for House of Hearing, said: As a company founded in Edinburgh, we’re proud to see House of Hearing on the city’s biggest moving billboard with Edinburgh Trams, increasing the awareness and accessibility of hearing and ear care.

“We’ve been proud to serve Edinburgh for more than 50 years, helping thousands of people access high-quality audiological care. We offer free hearing health assessments and our clinic is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland, guaranteeing outstanding clinical care.”

We also offer free earwax removal for over 75-year-olds every Tuesday and Thursday, bringing much-needed relief to the people who need it most.

Fellow senior audiologist David Parsons added: “Thanks to Edinburgh Trams, it’s never been easier to reach our state-of-the-art clinic in the New Town. Our flagship clinic at 10 Melville Crescent is just a 150m stroll from the West End tram stop, so our message is simple: with Edinburgh Trams, it’s never been easier to start your journey to better hearing health.”
