These 13 pictures show off the interior and facilities within the new Royal Hospital for Children and Young People which is due to open fully next week in Edinburgh.
The new hospital is due to open one year and eight months after its original opening date in July 2019.
Calum Campbell, NHS Lothian chief executive, said that despite delays it is a “fabulous” facility.
He said: “I don't want to see children in hospital, but if they have to be in hospital this is the place to be."
The new site includes a children's emergency department, 242 beds, 10 theatres and wards, outdoor play areas and physical and mental health specialities.
