Kasparas Mikutis, originally from Lithuania, has used his CGI skills to add alien figures to iconic sites and alleyways dotted around the city.
Studying a Masters in creative advertising, the artist said he enjoys working with visual effects and since moving to Edinburgh a couple of months ago, has decided to work his skills into the city’s scenery.
"I started doing daily posts on Instagram earlier this year, and usually I have some kind of series going on with a different theme of artwork,” he said.
"Taking pictures of Edinburgh and editing them was part of the series which I am thinking of continuing on weekly basis now.”
Here are some examples of his work in Edinburgh.
