Men in Kilts: release date for Outlander star Sam Heughan’s new show - and can you watch it in UK?
Fans of Sam Heughan will soon have some fresh content to devour, as the the Outlander star’s new TV show, Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham, drops very soon.
The much-anticipated travel docuseries will see Heughan and his fellow Outlander co-star Graham McTavish journey through Scotland on the road trip of a lifetime.

What is Men in Kilts about?
Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish’s new travel show explores the beauty and dramatic landscapes of Scotland.
Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham takes the Scots actors, who play Jamie Fraser and Dougal Mackenzie in the time-travelling Outlander series, all around the country, exploring everything it has to offer.
Their aim is to educate viewers - and themselves - about the rich history of their homeland, visiting battle sites and other iconic landmarks across the country.

Hide AdMen in Kilts was actually the brainchild of Heughan - he has always been vocal about his love for his home country - who produced the show alongside McTavish and Heughan’s friend Alex Norouzi.
The show is produced for American network Starz, which is also behind the ever-popular Outlander, based on Diana Gabaldon’s novels.
Heughan and McTavish, who are real-life pals, have also written a book together called Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other.
Where was Men in Kilts filmed?
Last year, the duo were spotted filming the docuseries in various Scottish locations after it was put on hold during lockdown.

Hide AdHeughan and McTavish were seen filming the show in Fife, doing some fishing on a boat in the East Neuk village of Pittenweem.
Heughan also shared a clip on his Instagram account as he crossed the Queensferry Bridge, and he was spotted again in Edinburgh’s Old Town by eagle-eyed fans.
The exciting trailer for the programme reveals that the duo visit Glencoe and the site of the Battle of Culloden - a place which features heavily in the Outlander series.
When is Men in Kilts released in the UK?
For a while, fans of the Outlander stars only knew that the new show would be dropping in early 2021, but a definitive date was kept under wraps.

Hide AdHowever, viewers in the US will be happy to know that there is finally a release date for the new series.
Men in Kilts will premiere on Valentine’s Day (Sunday 14 February) on Starz in America.
However, there is not yet a release date for the UK.
There was speculation that the show might be available on Amazon Prime Video like the Outlander series.
However, a spokesperson for the streaming platform confirmed to the Express that the new show will not be released on Amazon Prime Video.

How many episodes are there?
The travel docuseries comes in eight parts, and is produced by Sony Pictures.
Each episode will be only half an hour long, enough to give fans plenty of time to view their favourite Outlander stars exploring Scotland, and enough to keep them coming back for more.
