There were lots of high-profile celeb visits over the course of the year, including Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales, who were in town to visit the Leith Enterprise Trust. ‘People’s Princess’ Diana stopped to chat to the crowds of Leithers who turned out to greet the royal couple.
