1. Electric Circus
Electric Circus on Market Street was a guaranteed great night out - and their Halloween parties were legendary. This venue was formally a club called Massa. The Electric Circus closed in 2017 as the Fruitmarket Gallery next door expanded into the space. Photo: Jon Savage
2. Cav
The Cavandish was an iconic drinking spot in Edinburgh. Situated on West Tollcross, it has been called Lava Ignite and is now ATIK. Even so, jump in a taxi and ask to go to 'Cav' and they will still know exactly where to take you. Photo: Google Maps
3. Opal Lounge
Let us take you to inside Opal Lounge circa 2006. Found on George Street, this venue is now known as Eastside. Photo: JPI
4. City Nightclub
Another one that could be found on Market Street, this club used to host 'junior nights' lovingly watched over by the police (as shown in this photo). The building later became a sports bar before turning into Brewhemia. Photo: Toby Williams
