Come up to get down

The Centre in Livingston is appealing to residents of West Lothian to take part in an abseil at the shopping centre in aid of its charity of the year, Bosom Buds of Scotland.

Following the success of the abseil last year, which raised £9,000 for the charity, the 70ft abseil from the roof of The Centre will be taking place on September 10 to raise funds for the West Lothian-based cancer charity.

Mags Parsons-Fenwick, chairwoman of Bosom Buds of Scotland, added: “I am so excited about taking part in the abseil again this year. It was an amazing experience for everyone who took part in 2010 and the views from the top of the building are amazing.”

Jennifer Bruce at The Centre, said: “I hope we can raise even more this year for Bosom Buds of Scotland.”
