David Tennant’s new film focuses on family trip to Scotland

David Tennant is to star in a new animated film which centres on a trip to Scotland.

New Netflix movie: David Tennant

The Loud House Movie will be produced by Nickelodeon for Netflix.

The series revolves around the chaotic everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud, who is the middle child and only son in a family of 11 children.

The Loud House Movie sees the biggest family on television go on the biggest Loud family vacation ever.

The adventure follows the Loud family to Scotland where they discover that they are descendants of Scottish royalty.

The family quickly indulges in the most wish-fulfilling high-life ever when they discover their ancestral home is a castle.

The cast includes Bathgate-born Tennant along with Asher Bishop, Michelle Gomez, Grey Griffin, Jill Talley, Brian Stepanek, Jessica DiCicco, Liliana Mumy, Cristina Pucelli, NikaFutterman, Lara Jill Miller, Andre Robinson, Cat Taber, Katy Townsend, Carlos PenaVega and Izabella Alvarez.

The film will premiere on Netflix later this year.
