Craft brewer Innis & Gunn plan to expand this year following festive success

Scottish craft brewers, Innis & Gunn are celebrating their success over the festive period by revealing they have plans to expand this year.
In December their brewery taprooms, which are located in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, saw sales increase 16 per cent acrross the board and aided by a 35 per cent year on year uplift in festive covers.

Hide AdThey also saw a 42 per cent increase in Christmas gifting as well as sales of Innis & Gunn Brewery Fresh Tank Lager up by 17 per cent across the three taprooms.


The company have now announced that following the success, they intend to expand their retail portfolio this year and are currently on the lookout for suitable sites across Scotland.
A further Brewery Taproom will also be opened in 2021 at new the Innis & Gunn Brewery site which will be located at Heriot-Watt’s Research Park where it will become a centre for ‘brewing studies and applied learning’.

Hide Ad“It’s clear from both the sales results and amazing feedback we’ve received from customers that the refurbishment programme of our bars has been a hit with our existing fans and also recruited a raft of new supporters. We’re looking forward to welcoming even more of them through the doors in 2020.”
