Hidden Edinburgh has announced that ‘The Brunch Club - Dancing Queen’ will come to Edinburgh’s Revolution bar on Chambers Street on November 7 this year.

This will give dancing queens (and kings) the chance to dress up, brunch and sing along to all of Mamma Mia's greatest hits for the hour and a half long event.

All ages are welcome with guests dining in a Greek island-styled environment, whilst singing along with a live band to all the plate-smashing classics of the hit musical.

A special Mamma Mia themed quiz will also be on the cards.

The winner will take it all during the event with prizes for best singers and quiz winners.

Organisers have said that fancy dress is “highly encouraged”.

A spokesperson from Hidden Edinburgh said: “ Dig out your best whites, grab those floaty dresses and polish off those boat shoes!

"Choose to come as a dancing queen or a disco diva, but the best costumes will score prizes!”

Guests will be asked to select one dish from the brunch menu and the drinks package will give you 4 drink tokens.

The menu includes a ‘brunch grill’ of free-range fried eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, charred plum tomato and fried mushrooms, served with baked beans and toast with a gluten-free option available.

There will also be a vegan and vegetarian option of smashed avocado on toasted sourdough, topped with tomatoes, chilli flakes, coriander and Sriracha sauce.

Blueberry, banana and nutella pancakes are also on the menu.

Super trouper guests can make their brunch boozy by choosing from Aperol Spritz, Ketel V&T, Blank Canvas, Amstel, Prosecco, Bloody Mary and also Heineken 0.0%.

A selection of soft drinks will also be on offer.

If the event gets changed due to covid-19, organisers have said they will move all tickets and if the event can't go ahead (cancelled) those who purchased a ticket will be offered a full refund.

Tickets can be purchased for brunch only or the drinking package brunch here.
