A variety of restaurants, including chains and independent eateries, have already signed up to the Eat Out to Help Out scheme to offer customers half-price dining on certain days throughout August.
What is the Eat Out to help Out scheme?
The discount scheme is aimed at boosting the hospitality industry following lockdown, by offering customers who dine out from Monday to Wednesday in August a discount worth up to £10 per head.

The discount is available to everyone in the UK and includes children's meals. However, it will not apply to alcohol.
Any hospitality business that serves meals can sign up to the scheme, but the discount will only apply to meals eaten out.
Businesses will need to register with the scheme before they are able to offer the discount and then claim back the money.
