Edinburgh Gin and Mimi's Bakehouse partner to offer a G&T afternoon tea delivery service

To celebrate the launch of its new Gooseberry and Elderflower flavour, Edinburgh Gin has partnered with one of the Edinburgh’s best-loved bakeries to offer an afternoon tea delivery service.

Orders for the G&T afternoon tea open 12pm Friday 26th June for delivery on Friday 3rd July.

From Friday 26th June for four weekends, residents of Glasgow and Edinburgh will be able to order an exclusive afternoon G&Tea from Mimi’s Bakehouse, which includes a 70cl bottle of the latest addition to Edinburgh Gin’s flavoured range.

What's included?

The “Mimi’s Bakehouse x Edinburgh Gin Afternoon G&Tea” contains six mini traybakes, two mini elderflower cupcakes and two, freshly baked, plain scones, with Rodda's Cornish clotted cream - plus homemade gooseberry jam, giving a zesty kick to the spread.

The tea is complete with a bottle of Edinburgh Gin’s Gooseberry and Elderflower gin.

Bottled at 40% ABV, the new gin expression has flavours of tart gooseberries and sweet elderflower, giving it a subtly tangy taste, with a delicate, honeyed finish.

The Edinburgh Gin team suggest pairing it with a light tonic and garnished with fresh mint or used as a base for cocktails.

How to order

The “Mimi’s Bakehouse x Edinburgh Gin Afternoon G&Tea” is priced at £50, including delivery, and is available to order via the Mimi’s website.

Orders open 12pm Friday 26th June for delivery on Friday 3rd July and delivery is available in Edinburgh to EH1 – EH22 and in Glasgow to G1 – G53.

To toast the special partnership, and the official start of summer, Edinburgh Gin will also be giving two copa glasses to the first 100 orders of their Afternoon G&Tea.
