6. La P'tite Folie
Meaning "the little madness", La P'tite Folie is a French bistro found in a striking mock-Tudor building in Randolph Place, Edinburgh's West End. It serves contemporary French cuisine in a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.

7. The Witchery
Found next to Edinburgh Castle, The Witchery is steeped in grandeur. With every room dripping with atmosphere and stunning decor, its extravagant dishes champion Scottish produce. Definitely one for a special occasion.
Head Chef Gordon Craig,and his wife Lucy developed the idea for Taisteal (meaning 'journey') whilst travelling in China. Try their "amazing" food, using Scottish produce and techniques from all over the world, at the restaurant in Forth Street.
