Fancy a pint? Click and collect burgers and beers now available at this popular Edinburgh pub

You can now relive that pub experience you’ve missed in lockdown.

The Covid-19 pandemic has stripped the country of one of its favourite pairings: a burger and a pint.

But thanks to Brass Monkey in Edinburgh, customers can relive that long-lost pub experience and indulge in the delightful duo once again, even during lockdown.

The branch in Leith Walk has launched a ‘click and collect’ service with a full menu available to choose from.

Customers can order a beer and a burger online through Brass Monkey’s website.

They will then be allocated a time slot for collection.

The pub’s deal this week is one litre of cask ale growler and a burger for £10.

A spokesman for Brass Monkey said: “We have reopened so people can enjoy a burger and a pint, but we are of course making sure that social distancing measures are in place.

“We have signs outside the pub to make sure people are safely kept apart when collecting their drinks and food.

“There is plenty of time though between each collection time to make sure it doesn't get crowded.”

The pub is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm until 8pm, but customers can still place an order any day of the week.
