Tigerlily launch festive afternoon tea delivery service available up until New Year’s Eve

Renowned Edinburgh bar Tigerlily have today launched their Festive Afternoon ‘T’ delivery service.

Tigerlily celebrate the launch of their exclusive Festive Afternoon ’T’ delivery service, with a special visit from the man in red.

Continuing on selected dates up until New Year’s Eve, the holiday themed menu promises the same delights and surprises as a visit to the favourite George Street venue.

The afternoon tea selection offers Christmas Day specials like free range roast turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on soft, freshly baked white bread and warming mini pork and chestnut sausage rolls as well as fresh crayfish and avocado filled brioche.

The savoury snacks are followed with sweet treats, including toasted meringue with mini mince pies, classic profiteroles with smooth vanilla cream and not forgetting the afternoon tea staple; a delicious fruit filled scone with blackcurrant jam and indulgent clotted cream.Packages start from £17.50 for one and £35.00 for two, with the option to customise accompanying drinks, with the addition of Santi Nello Prosecco, Tigerlily Tangerine Sage & Honey Own Label Gin or delicious Christmas cocktails from their in-house cocktail club, crafted by Joey Medrington, head of Montpelier Group bar development.

Joey said: “The atmosphere in Tigerlily over Christmas is so energetic and joyful. I really wanted to bring that to the cocktail menu for our Festive Afternoon ‘T’ so I tried to be really playful with the names and flavours. When people receive their delivery, I want to make them smile, first because they’re fun and also because they taste amazing!”Cocktails include limited edition recipes like, Rhubarb the Red Nosed Reindeer with Belvedere, rhubarb, chai and vanilla - smooth, sweet and lightly spiced as well as the Gingerbread Man; 10yo Glenmorangie, ginger, lemon oil and black cherry tea for a warming, sophisticated flavour.

The cocktail menu is topped off with contemporary classics like the Toasted Coconut Old Fashioned, Cream Tea Negroni and the Margarita Bonita.

Tigerlily’s Festive Afternoon ‘T’ – which has a gluten free option available - along with their exclusive gift packs and cocktails can be ordered from their ‘Tigerlily At Home’ website now.

Deliveries are made on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to EH1 - EH17 postcodes with the option to pick up in venue.
