Food News: Come dine at Monday Supper Club

The Scotsman Hotel has just launched its Monday Supper Club, available every Monday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm, with a three-course menu and a glass of wine for £25 per person.

Executive head chef Paul Hart is hosting an exciting series of evening suppers set to showcase the finest ingredients available in Edinburgh. Paul will be sourcing the best produce from local markets and creating a bespoke three-course seasonal menu. His menu will be staking a weekly claim for the freshest cuisine in the city. • BrewDog has announced it is to sell the world’s strongest fermented beer (28% ABV) in 6cl bottles in its bars, includign the Cowgate bar. Ghost Deer is available from BrewDog.com in 6cl bottles – until now, the blonde ale has only been sold in limited amounts at BrewDog bars on draught, decanted from a specially commissioned stag’s head font.
