While the charity’s rehoming centres aren’t currently open for public browsing, they are still rehoming and taking in dogs, with new processes in place to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.
Dogs staff know will thrive straight away in their new home are being matched virtually and delivered to their new families contact-free.
Current restrictions mean Dogs Trust can only facilitate adoptions local to their centres and not across countries or anywhere there are travel restrictions.
The charity is not able to make appointments for dogs to meet their new family before going home, but can register interest to arrange appointments when restrictions ease.
