Scandinavian style homewares have been big news for a while now, and it is easy to see why in this beautifully stylish store, located on the corner of Broughton Street and London Street.

Brands to shop for here include Ferm Living, HAY and House Doctor, but if you're just looking for inspiration for your home, Life Story is a good place to start.

Illustrative prints, frames, scented candles and lighting from local designers can all be found in this quirky shop on Broughton Street.

There's also a range of gifts, including jewellery and kids toys.

The original shop opened in 2010, with a second store on Bruntsfield Place opening its doors in 2015.

The shop is a haven of carefully selected home accessories, which sit alongside unique vintage pieces.

The stock changes often - usually within seasons - so if you see something you like you'd better snap it up quickly.

And, if you find yourself further afield, Homer has a sister shop in the pretty Perthshire town of Aberfeldy.
