Marco Pierre White opens Capital steakhouse

POPULAR TV chef Marco Pierre White has officially opened the doors of Steakhouse Bar & Grill on the first floor of the Hilton Carlton Hotel, on North Bridge, with diners told to expect a traditional Steakhouse menu featuring some of Marco's favourite classic dishes.

Marco says, “We’re delighted to now be open in Edinburgh. The restaurant occupies such a great location in the heart of the city centre and within a stunning hotel.

“I love the Scottish people, you can always count on them to tell you exactly what they like and what they want. It is this exact approach, I take with the Steakhouse concept.

“I crave simplicity in both my lifestyle and food. The Steakhouse is all about classic dishes, simply cooked using the best, well-sourced, seasonal ingredients. I will always choose simple traditional cooking over fancy concoctions where you’re not quite sure what the food is supposed to be. ”
