My perfect weekend: Sarah Taylor, communications and PR manager for Lothian Buses

1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion and why? It would have to be comedian Peter Kay. I think I would spend the whole weekend in a fit of giggles.

2 Where would you take him/her in Edinburgh and why? I would take him on an Edinburgh Bus Tour – fantastic way to see the city sights. We would then have to get off at the Lawnmarket to enjoy the atmosphere and visit the local pubs.

3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Breakfast: Full Scottish breakfast from Dobbies Garden Centre, Eskbank. Lunch: Tigerlily on George Street, they have a great menu and very tasty cocktails! Dinner: Khukuri on West Maitland Street, amazing food and very friendly staff.

4 What item would you not be without? My iPhone – like most people I wouldn’t be able to function without it!

5 How would your perfect weekend finish? We would end the weekend with a visit to Luca’s in Morningside for an ice cream sundae!
