If you’re keen to make the most of this pretty season, there are plenty of scenic walking spots around Edinburgh to explore. So pull on your walking boots, wrap up warm and hit the trails of these nine locations which are all within easy reach of the capital.
5. The Meadows

6. Dean Village
Dean Village is a quirky oasis situated by the Water of Leith, and not far from both Stockbridge and the city’s West End. The pretty village was previously home to various mills and still boasts a variety of millstones and stone plaques decorated with baked bread and pies. Photo: Shutterstock
7. Royal Botanic Garden

8. Corstorphine Hill
