With many sights to view along the way, such as St. Anthony’s Chapel, the Salisbury Crags and Duddingston Loch, it is no surprise that the research has found the walk to be the most beautiful in the UK.
"With several routes available, a walk to Arthur's Seat is suitable for every level of walker. For the easiest ascent, we recommend climbing from the east where a grassy slope rises above Dunsapie Loch. Whilst if you’re looking for a challenge head across the grass to the end of Salisbury Crags, where a steep path leads up Nether Hill."
Other Scottish walks also made the top 50. Ben Nevis comes in at number 17, while the Falls of Clyde in South Lanarkshire (35th); the Silver Sands of Morar (38th); and the West Highland Way (46th) also feature on the list of most beautiful walks.
