If you’re looking for a beautiful drive to celebrate your newfound freedom, a recent study has compiled this list of the top road trips in the UK.
The breath taking view of Loch Lomond to Glencoe topped the poll, just beating the scenic route from Kendal to Keswick in the Lake District into second place and the historic Cheddar Gorge in Somerset into third.
When it comes to the preferred road trip companion 55 percent of the motorists polled say their partner would be the ideal person, while 29 percent said they’d like to go with their children and 27 percent chose their best friend.
The study was completed by MFG (Motor Fuel Group), the largest independent forecourt operator in the UK.
