Nominations now open: Celebrate the best of Edinburgh and the Lothians with The Forth Awards
Forth 1’s glitziest day of the year is coming up – and there is only a few weeks to have your say in choosing the pride of Edinburgh and the Lothians for a series of top awards (and the chance to mingle with the stars at the best day out ever!)
The Forth Awards celebrate everything and everyone in the area; this year’s headline sponsor is OT - Leith’s Waterfront destination. This iconic Edinburgh shopping destination is still open while transformative redevelopment works are underway. And they are proud to be the headline sponsor of what is undoubtedly one of the biggest events on the Edinburgh calendar.
In previous years the grand finale has played host to a star-studded line up, including Jason Donavan, Nadine Coyle, LF System, Larry Dean, K:Klass and Alison Limerick. And while this year’s stellar line up will be a closely guarded secret right up until the day itself, you can take a look back at last year’s highlights to get a flavour of why this is the most fun to be found in Edinburgh on a weekday afternoon!
Nominations open on Friday, July 12 for five weeks – that means you have until August 16 to nominate your contenders for every category. But community is at the heart of the Forth Awards, and organisers are particularly keen to see as many entries as possible into those categories, so they can have their moment to shine.
