Now Fayre Play, at Picardy Place, has extended its Lucky Duckers package throughout the whole of February.
Launched at the beginning of January, the “Lucky Duckers” package has taken Edinburgh by storm. For just £30, each customer receives a full bottle of Prosecco, a guaranteed (baby) duckie prize, a hot dog & fries, along with the opportunity to relive their childhood magic of the fairground through 9 nostalgic games.
Craig Neilson, Co-Owner of Fayre Play, which opened last summer, expressed his delight at the overwhelming response: "It's been excellent to see customers loving our new package, which has been especially popular with couples, we’re seeing more date nights through our doors than ever before.
“There’s been a lot of feedback asking us to extend it across Valentine's month, and we're delighted to oblige. We’ve seen relationships literally falling apart in our venue, due to couples being unsuccessful in winning one of our coveted plush duckie prizes, so this package ensures everyone leaves happier than they arrived, even if they lose.”

Let the games begin
Remember ping pong balls in fish bowls, tin can alley and hook a duck? Then this is the place for you. The venue offers a fresh twist on these traditional games – and a good dose of Scottish humour too – such as Skee-baw, Slam Dunk, Duck Hunt, Plenty O Fish; Glass Market; BullsAye, Cannae Whack It, Shots Fired, Cal-tin Hill. Each entry includes two rounds of these nine games.
Food and drink
And once you’ve enjoyed a bit of friendly competition, and maybe even scooped a prize or two, you can complete the night with a bevvy and a bit of scran.
There’s plenty of fairground fayre, from burgers and hot-dogs to authentic Italian pizzas, and a wide choice of drinks.
In response to overwhelming demand, Fayre Play has decided to make two recent favourites permanent offerings. Their mocktail selection, featuring 'Slamgria' and 'No-Gin Tins,' will continue to delight customers, along with their authentic handmade Italian pizzas, available both in-venue and on Deliveroo.
