14-year-old denies rape

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has denied raping a girl in a school toilet. The teen, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is accused of pulling the girl into the toilet and pushing her to the floor.

It is claimed that he then made her perform a sex act before having sex with her.

The alleged offence is said to have happened at an Edinburgh secondary school on February 9 last year when both boy and girl were thirteen years old.

The boy claimed that anything which happened was with the girl’s consent.

The accused is due back in court next month.
