1920s rail poster on auction

A BRITISH Railways poster advertising a famous Scots beauty spot to tourists in the 1920s and 30s is set for 

The travel advert, a reproduction of a work by Dundee artist James Mclntosh Patrick, is expected to fetch up to £300 when it goes under the 
hammer next month.

The original poster, thought to date from the inter-war era, will go on sale at Lyon & 
Turnbull, in Broughton Place, on May 8.

The poster features a view of Crieff as seen from the nearby village of Knock.
