Edinburgh's Christmas festival partnered up with Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home for Santa Paws in West Princes Street Gardens on Sunday, December 7.
Locals brought along their furry friends to the Ross Bandstand in an attempt to break the world record for the number of dogs dressed up in Christmas Jumpers. Unfortuately the 103 dogs in attendance failed to top the record of 350 dogs set in London in 2019.
On top of the word record attempt, there were also games, photo opportunities, a best trick competition, and the best dressed Christmas dog in Edinburgh.
As well as fun and games, there were also stalls from Pure Pet Food and Bowzos Bows offering tasty dog treats and gifts for man’s best friend’s Christmas stocking.
