Advocates speak out

RENOWNED human rights advocates from Colombia have visited the Capital to raise awareness of their work providing legal advice to displaced communities and victims of paramilitary violence.

Judith Maldonado Mojica and Marcela Castellanos spent time at the Law Society’s Edinburgh offices on Monday to talk about their work and the impact of armed violence and large-scale mining projects on indigenous and small-scale farming communities.
