Amy’s hair-raising scare

PERFORMER and TV presenter Amy Lamé is celebrating after being reunited with three wigs vital to her Fringe show after leaving them on a London train bound for Aberdeen.

Her show, Unhappy Birthday, requires her to cut off all her “hair” every night and the newspaper columnist was faced with chopping into her own locks to keep the show going or paying hundreds of pounds for new wigs.

However, train staff found the wigs and returned them in time for her to go on stage as normal. The 40-year-old said: “The wigs are pretty important to the show.”
