The incident took place between 7pm on Tuesday, September 6, and 6.30pm the following day at Turniedykes Farm, near Crichton.
The culprits forced entry to an outbuilding and stole welding machinery, batteries and tools.
Appeal after theft at farm
Police are appealing for information after £3000 worth of goods was stolen from a Midlothian farm.
