Arabella’s a star in Galaxy contest

A CAPITAL beauty will strut her stuff against some of the world’s most glamourous girls when she competes at a prestigious pageant in the US this summer.

Arabella Normand, 17, from the New Town, has been chosen as Scotland’s challenger for the Miss Teen Galaxy International crown after winning at a regional heat in Manchester.

The teenager, right, seen here with Miss Galaxy Scotland winner Jade Leigh Hunt, wowed the judges with a sparking interview before sailing through the modelling rounds.

She is poised to jet off to Florida in July to battle it out in the 14 to 18-year-old category of the international competition.

“I will work hard over the next few months to make Scotland proud of me,” said the former St George’s School for Girls pupil and keen equestrian.
