Arrest over Roslin assault

A MAN has been arrested and charged following an alleged sexual assault on a woman.

The 49-year-old man detained by police was set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.

His arrest follows a police hunt for a man who posed as a Good Samaritan to offer a woman shopper a lift home at around 11am last Wednesday before driving her to the car park at the top of Roslin Glen in Midlothian, where he began making sexual comments.
