Asian group officers gain police award

POLICE officers involved in setting up the first Asian women’s group in West Lothian have been honoured with the Chief Constable’s Award at the annual Lothian and Borders Police Force Excellence Awards.

The Milan group was set up in August last year and has allowed the force to make links with this typically under- represented group.

Chief Constable David Strang presented the award at Fettes HQ, one of 11 honours collected by West Lothian officers at the event.
