Attack victim on the mend

A CHARITY shop worker who was taken to hospital after being assaulted in a Barnardo’s store has been discharged.

The 36-year-old man was hospitalised after feeling unwell following the incident at Gorgie Road shop on Tuesday.

A Barnardo’s spokeswoman said that the worker was discharged from hospital after being taken in as a precaution.

A 29-year-old woman arrested by police for assault appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
