Attempted rape charge over Eyre Place attack
A Man has appeared in court charged with attempted rape after an alleged sexual attack in the Capital.
Cihan Ergisi, 35, from Edinburgh made a brief appearance in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court before Sheriff Gail Patrick.
No plea or declaration was made and the case was continued for further inquiry. Ergisi was released on bail.
His appearance in court follows an alleged sexual attack on a 21-year old woman in Eyre Place, Edinburgh, on October 8.
