Bank unveils new-look headquarters

BARCLAYS Wealth has re-opened its city headquarters after a major revamp.

The bank said the refurbishment of its Melville Crescent offices were a commitment to growing its business in Scotland.

Office manager John Godfrey said: “This is an important milestone for our growing business.

First Minister Alex Salmond met senior figures to discuss the financial services industry in Scotland yesterday.

He said: “Barclays Wealth’s investment in their future in Edinburgh is also another sign of the potential for Scotland’s financial services sector.”
