Bathgate fire: Major emergency services response in Bathgate's Jarvey Street after gas box catches fire

A major emergency services operation is currently under way in Bathgate after a gas box on a residential street caught fire.

Police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene of the blaze in Jarvey Street, with surrounding homes reportedly having been evacuated.

Footage shows a police cordon blocking the road, with multiple emergency service vehicles in the area.

The extent of the fire is currently unknown.
