Big gesture from Tesco at relaunch

STAFF at a Capital supermarket are celebrating its relaunch by donating to three local groups.

The Tesco superstore in Colinton Mains Drive closed on Sunday and reopens again at 8am on Monday to allow for improvements.

On Monday, store manager Graham Nisbet will present representatives from Milestone House, Colinton Mains House, and the Firrhill Centre with £333 donations each as part of the relaunch celebrations.

Milestone House is a short-term residential support service offered by Waverley Care, Scotland’s leading HIV charity providing care and support to people with HIV and Hepatitis C.
