Boss loses job over sex act

A bus station boss was sacked after a driver secretly filmed him committing a sex act at his desk.

Alistair Gibson was sacked by Edinburgh City Council following a disciplinary hearing.

The 54 -year old from Corstorphine was caught watching porn at the city’s St Andrew Square depot in January, committing a solo sex act.

The former business studies graduate had worked at the depot for 12 years.

A spokesman for Edinburgh City Council confirmed Mr Gibson’s employment was terminated after the incident came to light and a subsequent disciplinary investigation.

Mr Gibson is said to be “deeply shamed” but considering an appeal.
