Broken down lorry at Sheriffhall roundabout causes delays
Motorists are facing long delays on the A720 this lunchtime after a lorry broke down near the Sheriffhall roundabout.
The HGV is currently stationary in the lane 1 westbound and congestion is building in the area.
Traffic Scotland say TRISS are at the scene working to clear the lorry.
It comes just hours after trains travelling in and out of Waverley train station were delayed due to a signalling fault.
ScotRail services between Helensburgh and Edinburgh were disrupted for most of the morning and a ticket acceptance was in place for First Bus services and Edinburgh Trams.
