Brother of Maybury crash victim opens up as police continue to hunt for driver


Callum Smith said that they appreciated the efforts by police as they continued to hunt for the driver responsible.
Jonathan Smith died after his Peugeot 206 burst into flames on Maybury Road following a horror road smash.

Hide AdThe three car collision in May saw a vehicle crash head-on into Jonny’s car after he was forced to sweve to avoid a stolen Audi.
The driver of the Audi sped off after the crash and officers are yet to trace who was behind the wheel.
Speaking exclusively to Forth News, Callum discussed the impact his brother’s death and the investigation has had on him.
He said: “It’s frustrating. Ideally, we’d like to know, we’d like to have a name, have some punishment for the person involved, but we just have to take solace in the fact that we know the police are doing a good job.
“They’ve been working have. They’re in constant contact with us all the time. We just have to take trust in that.”
