Businessman tells others to get cracking at ‘Hatchery’

A CITY entrepreneur has urged others to follow in his footsteps by starting a new business in 2013.

Cally Russell founded Mallzee.com – which allows users to personalise online shopping– with the help of the not-for-profit Entrepreneurial Spark programme.

The venture supports start-up businesses from its “Hatcheries” in Glasgow and Dundonald. And a new hub, based in South Gyle, is set to open in early February.

Mr Russell said: “Anybody thinking of starting their own business in 2013 should take advantage of having the new hatchery on their doorstep and apply now.”
