Cadets chop to it as Puma visits school

CADETS Hannah Brodley and Alex Ross from The Mary Erskine School got up close and personal with a Puma helicopter which landed in the school grounds.

Members of the Combined Cadet Force, a Ministry of Defence-sponsored youth organisation, Hannah, 17, and 16-year-old Alex were given a tour of the helicopter after it touched down.

The teenagers were appropriately kitted out for the occasion in their camouflage gear.

The helicopter landed on the east side of the school’s grass running track with officers and staff present along a perimeter while stewards wore high-visibility vests to keep the area clear.
