Care service marks first year

A CARE service which wants to revolutionise looking after the elderly has celebrated its first birthday.

Bright Care, which is based in Danderhall, is run by 27-year-old entrepreneur Tim Cocking and employs 17 carers across the Lothians.

The organisation offers a flat, hourly rate and specialises in allowing elderly people to remain in their own homes.

On the service’s anniversary Mr Cocking said: “We couldn’t have managed it without the support of our clients, carers and community contacts.”
